12oz can pours a clear amber with some cloudy, white head. Nose has sour fruit, some apple, yeast. Flavor is a little better, apple, pear, caramel, yeast, some grape. Finishes strange.

Can. A brown beer, unclear, topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Sourish coffee grit aroma with butter-scotchy notes. Toffee and some charcoal. It’s medium to ful-bodied, soft and almost to low on carbonation. Sourish roasted malts, coffee and melange coffee flavor. Some roasted malts kind of bitterness. Lasting finish. Not very good this one. Smooth, yes, but the aroma and flavor isn’t much interesting or good. 150622

Can. A hazy, golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is quite grainy, with resiny notes and a touch of pale malts. Resin notes. It’s medium bodied, soft and with a nice carbonation level. It’s fruitty and lightly malty on the palate, with a nice fruityness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nice carbonation. Fruty, faintly malty finish. A decent beer, although a bit warming and sweetish. 150621

Can. An unclear, dark orange-golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is a bit weak, with peaches, pine cones and a malty touch. Quite bitter on the palate, with a soft and low carbonation. Medium to full body. Peaches, pine cones, some biscuity malts and a touch of grapefruit and grass in the flavor. Lasting bitter and citrusy finish. Orange zest and grapefruit. A decent one, but lacks some on balance. Not that an IPA should be balanced, but I guess you know what I mean. 150618
