Opaque black color with some subtle red notes. Big frothy beige head. Looks nice. Moderate intensity in the aroma. But it had a nice hop profile. Medium body and an average carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Roasted, herbal hoppy and coffee. A nice meal for a miner.

(Thanks, Gene! "Travlr") Bottle. A- Roasty, subtle dry bitter cocoa, iron. A- Black color, black liquid, beige head. T- Subtle coffee, roasty, bitter cocoa, subtle sherry. P- Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- This one had a bit of a sherry/dark fruit taste that was a nice addition. The aroma alone was kind of dull. Very creamy smooth body too. The oatmeal did wonders for it.
