About
Ārpus Brewing Co. is an independent microbrewery, founded in 2017 by craft beer geeks from Latvia. We brew what we love - juicy hop forward ales, fruity sour beers and bold imperial stouts - and we’re proud that Ārpus Brewing Co. is voted as #1 brewery in the Baltic States on Untappd.
We chose Latvian word Ārpus for the name of our brewery, as its meaning reflects the types of beers we brew - outside the box, beyond the mass made lagers, beers with overwhelming flavours and aromas for people brave enough to step out of their comfort zone.
The brewery is located just outside Riga (Latvia), equipped with a 10hL brewhouse and 20hL fermentation vessels. Our beer is packaged in 440mL cans and KeyKegs, then stored in a cold room to keep it fresh longer.

Med-thin bod, med carbo. High bitter, med-light sweet. Shitloads of dank and grassy hops character. Hops burn is real in this one, overextracted definitely. Also light boozy warmth. Overall rather harsh than delicious. Average.

Very full bod, toddler food consistency. Low carbo. Very high sweetness, med-high sour. No beeriness at all. Ugh. I would love to trash this into oblivion, but it actually tastes good, nice balance of fruits. Everything can be clearly sensed and works.

Aus der Dose (bbe 31.01.2027) im 2026-02 getrunken. Dieses rote Smoothie ist schon spannend mit dem Aroma-Mix von dunkler Beeren und Erdnusscreme. Wobei ich es ohne die Erdnuss-Aroma noch besser wäre, da es dann die moderate Süße nicht hätte. In der Nase domminiert sogar das Erdnuss-Aroma. So wirkt das eher wie ein Dessert. Vom Körper wie auch die anderen Arpus Smoothie's sehr kräftig und gut balanciert.

Can. TDH Single Hop Series Nectaron DIPA. A light haze on this gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Cooling pine. A light savoury skunk. Juicy stone fruits, bright, Nectarine with a touch of peach. Enlivening hop spice. Crisp finish. On point dipa, very quaffable.

Draught at Lauter, smallish bubbly head, murky milky yellow colour, aroma of peach and onion, with a bit of citrus in back, quite dunk, flavor of peach citrus and onion with lots of dunk, medium mellow grapefruit bitterness, not too heavy. Very good indeed.

Kolor jasno żółty, silnie opalizujący. Piana drobno pęcherzykowa, biała, wysoka, trwała. Silniealuje na szkle.
Aromat bardzo intensywny, świeży, chmielowy - owocowy, cytrusy, tropiki. Jest słodki, momentami miodowy, kwiatowy, wydaje się być perfumowany, super.
Smak słodki z mocną goryczkową kontrą. Goryczka grapefruita, jest średnio długa, wyraźnie dominuje nad słodyczą, ale mimo to nie wydaje się być bardzo wysoka.
Alkohol idealnie schowany. Ciało pełne. Tekstura aksamitnie miękka, gładka, puszysta. Posmak średnio długi, słodki (owocowy), wytrawny (zestowy).

0,44l can at home. BB 31.05.2026. black color, very small tan head. smells cinnamon, spices, earthy, vanilla, nutty. Nice to very nice smell, gimmicky. full body, light carbonation. tastes cinnamon, spices, coffee beans, nutty, earthy, chilis. finishes lightly sweet with notes of cinnamon, spices and chili notes.
