355ml can from Carwyn Cellars. Golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of apple, fruity, funk. Taste is sweetish, appley, juicy, with floral tropical fruit notes, some acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium drying finish. Quite drinkable.

Can. No, I didn't microwave it. 10C. Dulled gold, no head. Lowish carbonation, medium bodied. Aroma of cinnamon, cloves, apples. Apples seem more baked upon a taste and the spices are a little less prominent. Moderate sweetness. Fair enough.

Can. Cloudy orange, no head. Aroma of honey, apples (can doesn't say cyser or apples on the can but... ), soft bread. Pretty much how it tastes. Floral mostly at the end, slightly peppery too. A fair bit of body. Pleasant enough if a little unfocused and a tad sweet for me.

Bottle. Faintly misted gold, high bead. White mousse flashes. Aroma of fresh cut tart apples, skins, some caramel and flowers. Not really funky. Not completely dry with a fair bit of acid bite and a drying skin finish. Nice.

Can. Just unclear greenish yellow. Gently funky pear aroma with a little toffee. Medium dry with a little body, some spice and acidity. Refreshing, quite complex.

I think this is my first Australian cider… Gurney’s Proper Dry Cider 7.2% Pale straw gold with a musty sweet apple aroma. Medium bodied and ultra dry. The taste started off not terribly sweet but as you keep drinking the apple seeetness starts to shine. This really brings to mind a proper British cider, apparently it’s bottle conditioned and made with wild fermentation. Really tasty, I’d have more from Gurney’s.

Can. Unclear gold. Aroma of mostly raw, slightly acidic apples. A welcome bit of body for something this low in alcohol, lowish carbonation. Dryish with flesh, and a bit of bite from skin. Very English.

Can. Just cloudy yellow, no head. Aroma of apple skins, flesh, hints of pears and old ginger. Dry but with a decent amount of body. Juicy and slightly tart. No cooked apples. A little bit zingy at the end. A lot to like here.

30/9/2022. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours almost clear very pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is tangy juicy apples, sweet and sugary, floral, light spices and a peppery edge. Moderate sweetness, medium tartness. Moderate body, oily, low carbonation. Very nice.
