Tap (LisBeer, Lisbon). Dark amber colour, beige head, very good lacing. Small note of tropical fruits and resin in aroma. Bitterness is small, medium body with biscuits character. Beer is delicate, gentle, nice and drinkable bit should be more aggressive.

Bottled. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and caramel. Leading to a dry finish.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Pitch black with a thin, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with chocolate, coffee and caramel malts. Red berries. Taste is bitter roasted. Medium bodied. Finishes dry and bitter roasted with chocolate and coffee. Ok.

Ambar, turbia de abundante espuma blanca consistente y duradera. Aroma marcado a lúpulo, resinoso. En boca mantiene un carácter muy lupulado, que tiene bastantes cosas. Punto cítrico, flores, pino. Melocotón. La malta está debajo, tratando de compensar y lográndolo en parte. Buen cuerpo y punto de gas. Amargor notable, intenso a veces. IPA bastante interesante y lograda, y de lo mejor del panorama portugués.

Bottle thanks to swap with Scopey. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - tea, burnt malt. A hint of chocolate. A bit more subtle than expected. Taste - loads of toffee and chocolate. There’s a tangy which suggests a yeast issue. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy Overall - it’s good but I’m not sure it’s exactly in the condition the brewer would expect it to be.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear red-brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of toffee, Victoria plum skin, coffee. Taste is tannins, more tea than coffee. Something vegetal. Not sure this is quite right, but it’s ok.
