Rated at Platinum Bierstube. Smooth, heavy with barrel notes, thicc chocolate sauce, bourbon, vanilla, cocoa, hints of roastiness. Pretty nicely balanced and complex barrel overdose.

Didn't realize this was a blend, it's got gnarly amounts of fudgesicle flavor. Wish more of the barleywine came out but it'll age wonderfully as is. There are hints of figs and dark fruits but more vanilla than BiL notes.

Almost more coconut than beer but in a great way, liquid almond joy fosho. More barrel will pop up out of the bottle I bet otherwise hints of it in the nose and finish. Long lingering candy bar barrel finish.

Fresh AF can picked up at Aurora Arts location - turbid gold - thick, lasting lace - some juicy as all get out, lots of tropical fruit but also underlying herbal notes - medium sweet with loads of citrus character - white grape, melon, and even some finishing pear juice - herbal dank bitterness arrives to finish things off, along with light spiciness - I like.

Tap at the Aurora Arts location - inky black pour - looks slick in the glass - also appears still - nose is mostly imperial stout - thick chocolate, coffee, molasses, umami, toffee - slick mouthfeel, heavy body - flavor brings a lot of what the nose promises, along with some dark fruit and treacle barleywine qualities - finish tips in the barleywine’s favor, but also has lingering jammy red wine and chocolate - dig it.

16 oz can. Popped the can and it erupted all over the floor. Very slow pour into proper glassware. Ridiculously over carbonated. Flavor of burnt toast, cocoa, soft earth.. Balanced with a soft bitter finish. Quite crisp. Great flavor. Tone down the carbonation and this is a winner.
