0.50l bottle, shared with Elvis & Adam. Vinous, musty, funky and farmhouse aroma. Pours cloudy ruby rose color with thin creamy pinkish head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts faint tart vinous and berry like, following is woody with grape skin note and dry pinot noir finish. Full body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not the cheapest nor the best fun…

Dark brown. Rich barrel, light tannin, chocolate, bitter, a little alcohol. Yeah that’s nice.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a medium, quickly-dissipating white head. Nose brings out bright tangerine notes upfront, with white grape skins in back, plenty of bugs, and some oak. Flavour beautifully melds the tangerine and Pinot Gris grape skins together, with a wonderful wild yeast base, and some smoothed out tannins from the oak. That really is a skilled blend of the tangerine and grapes. Complex, integrated and highly drinkable. Excellent.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of dark cherries, some oaky tannins, and a touch of wild yeast. Flavour is full of deep cherry piths, moderate tartness, some oak, and earthiness. Nice tart cherries and oak on the finish. Maybe not as complex as some other Alesong sours, but it’s done very nicely.
