Description
We approach brewing like a musician composing a song.

Each beer begins with an inspiration: from nature, food, or an unforgettable experience.

Production is patient, personal and reflective; the vision evolves until it is brought to life in the glass.

Like the song, each beer is our expression, but the enjoyment and interpretation is yours.

Cheers!

At Alesong, our approach to brewing is patient and artistic. 100% of our beer is matured in barrels and then consciously blended to create a complex and unique beverage experience. Drawing inspiration from like-minded artisans across the globe, the goal is to create beers that are innovative and unique, yet approachable and balanced. And with flavors that range from tart and fruity to rich and malty, there's something for every palate.

We believe that beer is worthy of contemplation and reverence and hope to share that passion with you.

Cloudy tan. The aroma shows a fair bit of brett, light oranges, pears. Has a nice bit of brett, light pale, and then there’s a touch of orangey, pear notes. I like the fruity note, the touch of alcohol, the nice clean pale malts, and the brett. Good balance, I’m a fan.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden yellown with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of brett, light stone fruitiness and light citrus. Flavour brings out a lovely brett character upfront, with stone fruitiness, light citrus and lovely funk. Brett used really well here. Complex and highly drinkable. High carbonation, but it's fitting. Excellent.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy creamsicle orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of grape skins, followed by brett, and stone fruits. Flavour is jumbled with a thick palate, with brett, stone fruits, loads of pith and pulp, and citrus bitterness on the finish. Pulpy and pithy palate, with a lightly bitter finish. Nose is superior to the flavour unfortunately. Decent.

Thick cloudiness and a pale hue. Not much head. On the nose, The aroma is a bit phenolic - not in a good way - it jumps out with band-aid, where I might have been hoping for brett. There is a touch of brett - not enough - and mainly this is about sweet malts. Light esters that work well with these sweet pale malts. Gentle bitterness. The brett lends a nice character and it ends up being fairly enjoyable.

My first Alesong beer. Why? On tap at the Tin Bucket. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. Oak, wild sour fruit, clear apricot, funky brett, lemons, tart unripe lemons. Quite good, smooth and complex. Balanced with brett and lacto plus the sweetness of the fruit. Lovely.
