Half-pint, cask at Hop Inn. Shared with Finn. Upper part lacing on the glass. Hazed golden body, covering white head. Modest smell of grass and hints of lime. Fruity taste of lemon and lime. Fruity ending with distant bitterness. So and so. (Swindon 26.10

Cask @ Post Office Vaults, Birmingham before catching Sebadoh at the 02 Academy. Pours dark, small tan head. Aroma is fruitcake, chocolate, dark malts. Taste continues along similar lines, additional light plummy notes, smooth light body, layered malt. Decent porter.

Bottle at home, 10/08/19. Mr Gary Usher … cheers … no need for this on a 3.9% gold unless infected I'd imagine? Lightly hazed golden orange with a big old off white cap of bubbles. Nose is bitter orange, straw, grains, crackers, melon. Taste comprises mellow citric zest, tangerine, grass, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterness. I've had worse and it didn't taste of any infection tbh so not sure why the explosion !!!
