Description
When we started this company, our goal was to keep it as straightforward as possible: to craft flavors and experiences that the people of Maine hadn’t had before, and serve them as fresh as possible. Over the years, as the business has grown, we are now able to share our beers with people in other areas – regionally, nationally, and internationally – but Maine always comes first. We strive to take care of those things closest to us, and let that radiate outward: our staff, our processes for making beer, our tap rooms and loyal customers, and the surrounding communities that support us. Everything we do is in support of these things, we are nothing without them.

Can to tulip. Bottom of the can stamped 03/04/2026.
Appearance: burnt orange haziness with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: candied grapefruity tones, tangerine, subtle white grapey hop tones, lean lemon hop tones; then subtle peachy fleshy-like scents
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a juicy fruit candied tropical/grapefruity tone; finishes very juicy with a wonderful little pinch of dryness right at the end
Texture: medium bodied, kinda sessionable; some smoothness with a light dryness; good low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: very nicely done NEIPA I am very glad I finally got to try this.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: soft burnt yellow haziness with a sturdy two finger white frothy head which capped to a finger for approximately a minute the slidd off and left a good deal of messy lace
Aroma: huge amounts of grapefruit rind bitterness up front with a stealthy fresh pine hop scent gliding in for balance
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas to blend bittersweetly and allows a slight biscuity malt backbone to balance towards a slight sweet vibe; finishes semi-sticky with a touch of some grapefruit pith
Texture: light to medium bodied, very sessionable; very good smoothness with nothing distracting this flow; nice low carb and low hop bitterness
Overall: I didn't mind the subtle stickiness in the finish - it was very low so this would be a beer I would return to

Aromas are a nice blend of citrus and resin with some malt and hints of mushrooms and spoiled meat. Flavors are similar to nose. Citrus gets strongest followed by resin and loses the shrooms and meat. Slightly sweeter than bitter with good carbonation. Pretty tasty overall.

Can from Tavour. Can foamed over. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark tan head. Aroma of dark roasty malt with that lactose thing. Not quite med body. Malty/roasty. Not dry. Burnt malt bitterness. Lactose all the way through.

Can (12/11/25) from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Cloudy yellow with nice sparkle, ample head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is sweet/tart citrus, mild spruce. Taste is strong citrus, grape and spruce. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, dry finish with mild bitterness. Compared to other reviews, fair to say this should be drunk fresh as spruce seems to have faded rather quickly.

Poured from a can dated 12/09/25 into a willi becher pint glass
Pours a translucent gold with 2 fingers of white foam head that settles leaving a good amount of sticky lacing
The aroma is grapefruit, orange zest, pine and slightly floral
The flavor is sweet citrus to bitter citrus peel and pine. Nice balance between the bitter and sweet
The Substance has a light to medium body leaning more towards the light end. Has prickly carbonation but the dryness and balanced bitterness make it super drinkable.
Overall this is an excellent classic example of neipa. It's not the modern sweet juice bomb but a well balanced super drinkable hoppy IPA. I'd love to try this one more fresh some time.
