Tap at the tasting room. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate. Med body. Flavor is smooth dark malt, chocolate and something a bit more. More what? Not sure. Decent porter. Not all that dry, moderately bitter.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours bright medium gold with a white head. Aroma has a rye note. Med body or a little more. Kind of smooth and slick. Rye spice is clearly present. Fairly dry. Moderately bitter. Overall I think the rye is the main deal. Tap at the tasting room. Pours clear brassy gold with a white head. Aroma hints at dank. Rather citrus. Med + body. Smooth. Nearly creamy. Not too dry. Caramel! Bitter enough to submerge most of the malt tho. Hop seems citrus/pine with an earthy note. Not harsh or biting. Decent IPA.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours lightish gold with a white head. Aroma is light - not a normal breadiness, but in that direction. Mild hop; very mild. Near med body. Flavor is sort of rice with some decently bitter hop that might be Nobel. It’s very dry. Decently bitter. Kind of like an unusual and bitter than usual Pilsner.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A light husky citrus nose. Sweet, earthy, some bitter resin, oily. Earthy dry finish with some heat. Oily. Hot. OK. Old school.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is earthy with a touch of pine/citrus. Med body. Flavor is earthy, pine/citrus and maybe a floral touch. Light caramel support. Not very roasty. It expresses a certain juiciness. There's an interesting flavor in the finish that seems familiar, but I can't recall. Overall this is a pleasing pale ale.

Tap at Urban Roots. Pours dark brn/blk with a unusual beige/tan head. Aroma of bourbon and chocolate. Near full bodied. Flavor is very nice, not all that earthy, chocolate and excellent bourbon. Malt is dark, but not treacly. Nice balance of malt/chocolate and bourbon tips the flavors just right. It is excellent.

Can. Almost clear gold with an inch of white head. Aroma of citrus (grapefruit, herbal lemon), lesser tropical and pine notes. Almost sticky, lowish carbonation. Very sweet with peach and caramel. Tropical fruit, particularly mango is much more prominent than in the aroma until strongish bitterness starts to grip and pine struggles into view. One of those where the sweetness is probably needed to stop the finish getting too harsh. But it's pretty good and the hops are punchy. I'd have guessed it a tad stronger than 8.5%.

Tap at Bungalow. Black with lace. Big coffee nose with a touch of chocolate. Mostly coffee flavor, some roasted malt and chocolate. Body is a bit thin. Not bad, but kind of just like drinking an ice coffee, which I didn't really order.
