Golden colour with lasting fluffy head. Aroma and flavour are of predominantly floral hop notes. Background malty sweetness. Decent body. Well rounded bitterness.

Black with a large brown head - Roasted malt , chcolate and wood barrel aroma - Dark malt body with wood and some chocolate flavours with some nice bitterness - The dark malt with chocolate and wood barrel flavours goes into the finish - This was good

Beetje moutig, harsig, hoppig, wat pine. Super nice. Mocht iets sterker allemaal, maar wel echt prima.

On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza Sept 2018. Pours opaque deep brown towards black with a smidge of tan head. Aroma: sweet toasted malts, cacao, dark chocolate. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, rich, burnt malts, dark chocolate, spice, brown sugar, mellow bourbon vibes. Full body with light carbonation

Can, 0.33l. Aroma of caramel, bread, grass and dark fruit. Pours clear bronze color with thin creamy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet malty, following is grassy, slightly medicinal and faint fruity, mouthfeel is smooth and dry at the end, while finish is moderate bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Classic bitter, nothing special, even without US touch...

Not getting much of a West Coast vibe, but still a pretty good IPA, crisp and fruity, with a nice mix of citrus, melon, and tropical notes followed by a gentle, pine-laced finish. The lack of bitterness is a downer, and there's nothing here to differentiate Expatriate from a dozen other IPAs on the shelves, but that doesn't mean it's a bad beer.

Seems like it could have been a pretty good beer when it was fresh but right now the main thing I get is old hops from a can that was packaged in July.

Blik gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Keukeman. Het is een licht troebel geel bier met een dun wit schuim. Het heeft een hoppige en harsige geur. De smaak is ook harsig en hoppig.
