Sampled at Zeezicht, Breda. Opaque almost black color, full sized beige head. Aroma is malty, earthy. Flavor is malty, earthy a bit, a bit sweet and a slight hint of raisins and liquorice. Not bad.

Can from systembolaget. Aroma is uninviting. Dark caramel appearance. A taste that shows its American made but also feel the ending could work best in cask.

Southbounder ist ein supergut trinkbares Stout mit angenehmen Espressonoten, kommt bei mir aber nicht im hohen Ränge. Dafür ist es dann doch zu eindimensional, obwohl es 7% hat. Da schaffen kleinere Stouts intensivere Aromen. Dennoch prima trinkbar.

Ljust bärnstensfärgad vätska med vitt skum. Svaga dofter av våt säd, gräs och lite, lite apelsin. Vattnig, jolmig och intetsägande. En amerikansk pruttkopia, av en engelsk stil, som kan vara riktigt god i rätt bryggarhänder.

Gold to amber with a big, frothy white head. Beautiful tropical fruit aroma mangos, grapefruit, citrus. Mild caramel undertones. Taste is bitter the whole way through, though there is some mild bittersweetness up front as the sweet malty base makes itself felt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Overall well balanced. Tasty.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours dirty hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Tropical aroma - citrus/mango. More than med body. Flavor is fruity, but dryish. Bitter. Flavor is melon/citrus/mango. Very good flavor. Excellent.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Clear mahogany, rich firm head. Minty grapefruit and bread up front. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Vinous caramel and grapefruit. Long very bitter finish. Solid.
