Can, 0.33l. Aroma of caramel, bread, grass and dark fruit. Pours clear bronze color with thin creamy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet malty, following is grassy, slightly medicinal and faint fruity, mouthfeel is smooth and dry at the end, while finish is moderate bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Classic bitter, nothing special, even without US touch...

Not getting much of a West Coast vibe, but still a pretty good IPA, crisp and fruity, with a nice mix of citrus, melon, and tropical notes followed by a gentle, pine-laced finish. The lack of bitterness is a downer, and there's nothing here to differentiate Expatriate from a dozen other IPAs on the shelves, but that doesn't mean it's a bad beer.

Seems like it could have been a pretty good beer when it was fresh but right now the main thing I get is old hops from a can that was packaged in July.

Can from Systembolaget. A nice sweet Hoppy aroma. Murky gold colour. Fresh and goopy taste with a smart bitter rye ending. Liked this.

Bottle picked up from Beerdome webshop Grootegaste Netherlands. Had this at home Thursday 19th November 2020 whilst listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music. Pours mid hazy gold with a white head, there is a tiny bit of haze, soft mouthfeel. There is a huge malty base here but loads and loads of bitterness, juiciness and citrus, it's hugely hoppy. Good, actually better than good, it's great.
