Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2023. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong roast and earthy dark grains with a some honey coming through. Flavor has earthy dark grains and growing roast with a bit of honey underlying.

Pour is an almost clear brown with a large tan head. Aroma is candi sugar and some molasses. Flavor is a big candi sugar and finishes with a nice bittering hop. Way on the sweet side with a bigger hop presence than is usually found with the style.
