A hazed blonde ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light resinous hops, light vanilla, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, pleasant vanilla, faint coconut, pleasant. Can from brewery.

(473ml can c/o Luc, thanks!) Pours moderately hazy yellow-gold with an average white head and some lace. Aroma is quite floral, heavy on melon, tangerine, grapefruit peels, mango, unripe peach, dank grassy hops and a little bread. Flavour is semi-sweet and juicy up front, slightly green mango and honeydew with grapefruit peels, bready malt, a little dank grassy edge but no really 'green' hop burn, there is a little bit of alcohol warmth though (unusual for Badlands). Aftertaste of soft mango and melon with some grapefruit peel. Light to medium body, oily to creamy, soft to moderate carb. Solid stuff, this isn't my absolute favourite hop profile but it's rendered well here and is a tick above regular More! for me.

473mL can, pours a cloudy peachy golden with a small white head. Aroma is pithy, dank, and tropical, with lots of pithy stone fruits, bitter citrus peel, and dank hops. Flavour is quite bitter and abrasive, with bitter citrus peel, stone fruits, some tropical notes, and some dank hops. It's on the harshly bitter side, with quite a bit of bitter citrus peel. Good albeit a bit harsh.

(473ml can c/o Luc, thanks!) Pours near opaque deep gold with a thick white head and lots of lace. Aroma is heavy on creamy coconut with tangy tart pineapple, lemon zest, floral tropical fruit like guava and lychee, slightly herbal or piney overtones as well. Flavour is off-dry with creamy coconut up front, Sabro really driving the boat, some nice soft floral lychee/guava vibes, light pineapple and lemon zest, just a little 'yellow fruit' mango-type notes in the middle, softly herbal into the finish which is a Sabro feel as well, with a recapitulation of coconut and lychee in the finish, very low bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft creamy plush carb, Badlands mouthfeel for sure. I can see why this would be a bit polarizing since it's Sabro-forward but the other hops are definitely pitching in (I think, the can says 630 but the flavours seem more 586 like the notes). I liked it!

(473ml can c/o Luc, thanks!) Pours very hazy orange-gold with a thick white head showing good stability and lace. Aroma of heavy floral vanilla, mixed pale citrus peel vibes, kind of milky creamy sweetness, some melony fruitiness as well. Flavour is again heavy floral vanilla and mixed pale citrus peels, citrus pith, a kind of intense floral vibe really, some kind of resinous stickiness in the middle, semi-sweet cream, slightly drying into the finish, light bitterness, some tea-like floral astringency in the aftertaste. Lightish body but ultra creamy, with soft carbonation that adds to the cream. Definitely not a subtle milkshake IPA, the vanilla is running the show here over the very citrusy Pink Boots hop profile. Solid though a little sweet for drinking in large volumes.

Aroma is just incredibly orange-focused for a non-fruited beer, masses of fresh navel orange pulp, pith and zest, backdrop of nice bready malt and smooth fruity yeast, soft floral overtones. Flavour follows the nose, big punch of juicy pulpy navel orange with a lot of zest as well, oily and aromatically bitter, nice helping of floral notes as well (Loral?), maybe some undertones of soft papaya or melon, mid-sweet up front and lightly bitter from all the orange peel florals in the fairly dry finish. Medium bodied, oily and slick with smooth soft carbonation. A very interesting DIPA, being intensely saturated and so quintessentially 'orange'. If you don't love navel oranges you might hate this, but I think it's awesome.

Aroma is citrus zest-heavy, a lot of bright lime and tangerine, some lemon, hints of sweeter pit/tropical fruit flesh, a little breadiness to the malt, fruity but not juicy, sweet florals. Flavour continues the citrus angle, a lot of bright lemon-lime and tangerine up front, only lightly sweet and very zesty, soft bready malt, loads of orange and lime peel oils from mid-sip on, bright and mineral, finish is laden with citrus zest oils/bitters, very aromatic, dry, lightly bitter, long aftertaste. Light to medium body, fairly creamy carbonation. Nice Dora version, the citrus-heavy vibe might not be for some but after a number of floral/melony Badlands this is a nice switch-up. Very refreshing.

A hazed yellow DIPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, tropical fruit, grapefruit, very nice and rich. Can from brewery.

Aroma has lots of pineapple, melon, floral white peach, some orange and light dankness with a bit of bready malt behind. Flavour is very dry even for a Badlands IPA, with musky pineapple, lots of melon, perfumey florals, some fruit rinds, soft peach sweetness, dry dusty yeast and a little bread. Finish is bone dry, lightly bitter but with a clear floral, fruit rind and melon vibe that's a touch astringent. Light body, creamy, softly carbonated. Floral side of the IPA spectrum, but that's exactly what you'd expect from the hop bill! Yet again, super-solid brewing from Badlands even if this felt slightly thinner than the 'typical' IPA from them.

Notes of heavy white grape and some sweet red berries, bright zippy citrus up front, some floral tropical fruit, some dank wet leaves, citrus pith and red fruit rinds, rather prominent bready malt but fairly light sweetness, quite dry dank finish with low bitterness, slightly chalky minerals and some citrus oils plus a little earthy stuff in the aftertaste. Medium-bodied, nice and creamy with soft carbonation. I liked this hop profile but I felt it was a little lacking in saturation compared to my hopes for it.
