WELCOME TO THE RETRO FUTURE

Utilizing an alchemical approach to a foundation of sound brewing techniques, WarPigs USA pushes the boundaries of the known beer universe to create arcane libations for exploring this realm and beyond. Welcome to the retrofuture of brewing.

2021 marked the dawn of a new era for WarPigs USA. Four years ago, we launched into this vast galaxy of beer and have forged great partnerships in the industry along the way. Our team has accomplished much — and with a firm foundation and steadfast resolve — we now look forward to continuing the mission on our own. WarPigs USA is no longer a collaboration project. We are now independent and looking toward our future in brewing. Per aspera ad astra.

Admin Note: In 2021 3 Floyds separated from Mikkeller and launched WarPigs USA Brewing. Beers are brewed at 3 Floyds Brewing in Munster, IN.

On tap at Northern Taphouse. Pours as slightly hazy gold with a peach hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with a bit of grass and a light grain note. Flavor has dull orange and light grass with a touch of mango and sweet grains backing.

Canned 10/16/25, drunk 4/2/26, compliments of tfontana. Thanks, Tom!
Cherry and wood with a bit of light tropical character. Smells like Citra and Simcoe to me. Clean, polished, with lots of yeast and a biscuit and white bread malt character that amply balances. Ripe citrus and maybe even a hint of alcohol on the very end.
Sweet with tons of cherry and ruby red grapefruit. There's an undercurrent of something sharp, alcohol-like (probably, gasp, alcohol) and bitter. Lots of pine bitterness, bordering resinous. Disjointed with big, sweet (too sweet) malts. Bold, big flavors as 3 Floyds does, but messy and brutish, as 3 Floyds does.

12 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you. Aroma resembles passionfruit and pine/ herbs. Thankfully, the flavor displays a little bit more fruit than pine. Orange marmalade, passionfruit and maybe hints of mango. It does, and on a mild pine bitterness. Decently balanced.
