Can (3/23/26) from Beverage Warehouse. Opaque, dark brown with tons of sparkle, massive head with fair retention, splotchy, soapy lacing. Aroma is strong earthy, sweet grain with evergreen, sawdust and wet hay components. Taste is roasted earthy malt, vague anise. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, dry finish as taste. Taste is not strong but to style while I can't figure out if aroma is completely wrong or just odd and intriguing. Maybe both! Not bad for ABV but not a traditional Irish Stout.

Appearance: glossy burnt orange to copper color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated gently to leave some light lace
Aroma: soft citrusy to grassy hop notes; light malty backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to stealthy bittersweet sort of quality; finishes grassy and semi-citrusy
Texture: light to medium bodied; good sessionability; some smoothness with nothing distracting anywhere; good carb level; good low hop bitterness
Overall: a session IPA that I didn't mind, perhaps again and might be straight out of the can next time.

Can to mug.
Appearance: glossy yellow almost golden color with a quickly dissipating white frothy head which gave way to a light fizz to it and sporadic lace
Aroma: bready sweet to subtle caramel-ish tones; super light floral hoppy tones? Hmmm...seems a bit of a stretch to find the hops
Flavor: leans towards the sweet side with the malts up front; finishes somewhat mobile and malty
Texture: light bodied; sessionable; extremely smooth along the tongue; the carb level seemed fine; and no hop bitterness whatsoever
Overall: it's alright. However, I do believe there would be many other Helles lagers I think I would go for first before this.

Aroma: floral to earthy hop notes with a nice clean biscuity malt backbone

Overall: I say a pretty good Kolsch worth coming back to.

Aroma: crushed coriander; dark berry tart to tangy to sweet notes; sweet wheat and some white bready notes
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine variety of different sweet notes then a light spicy toned coriander note slides in for a light balance; finishes crisp with a touch of spice and lingering sweet wheat
Texture: light bodied; very sessionable; pretty good smoothness with basically nothing distracting; carb is low but I believe I'm good with that as I think they were going for an actual APWA
Overall: they might call this in name "Nordic Witbier" but it does lean more towards an APWA - this is actually brewed quite well as a nice Summer crusher. Next time, I could see having this in the can by my grill.

Aroma: herbal to earthy to citrusy zesty toned hops with an ever so slight touch of orange rind; light clean malty backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes somewhat earthy and herbal with a touch of dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; good smoothness with a note of light hop bitterness assertiveness but honestly, it's not too bothersome; good carb level
Overall: pretty nicely done IPL bordering on maybe being a Czech pilsener but just seemed like they put a ton of hops in this.

Appearance: cloudy burnt yellow to almost copper hued with a two finger rocky foamy white head which dissipated at a nice pace and left some light speckled lace
Aroma: sweet wheat, clove; banana esters, smooth sweet nutty tones then light vanilla; super subtle bubblegum
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to subtle spicy quality; finishes leaning into the clove & banana tones with a touch of the wheat
Texture: medium to full bodied; sessionable; good smoothness along the tongue with a slight kick/bite of the wheat; good carb level
Overall: not a bad attempt by an American brewer of this style and I think I could come back to this.
