Big thanks! 330 ml. Bottle split by two @ “HKHK” Tasting. Touch darker orange, few white bubbles. Nose is sweet smoked malt, Lapsang Souchong, bacon I suppose, pleasant sweeter smoked malt, nice. Too little carbonation which is a shame but who is pleasant, good classical DE profile with the right sweetness, sweet smoked Lapsang Souchong malt, bacon I suppose, malt, sugar, smoked wood,… Shame about the carbonation but quite a good mix of sweetness & smoked malts. Neat.

A dark amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice herbaceous biscuit malt with light peated notes, grassy hops, light mineral notes, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with sustained peated notes, grassy hops, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. On tap at Kowloon Taproom.

On tap at The Globe, Hong Kong. Black with a small tan head. Relaxed with light roasted malt, caramel and hints of fruit. The finish was medium bitter and a bit dry.

On tap at Kowloon Taproom. A bit hazy light amber with a white head. A bit on the sweet side with caramel, fruit and some malt. The body was around medium, as was the bitterness.

On tap at Kowloon Taproom. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Soft and easy to drink with bread, some light fruit and hay. The bitterness was low.

(On tap) Black with short-lived tan head. Subtle aroma of dark treacle. Medium body with gentle carbonation giving a smooth soft almost creamy mouthfeel. Sweat dark toffee flavours dominate with the some coffee bitter notes. Very pleasant.
