Bottle at the Xmas Ratebeer tasting, Garching with the München RateBeer Tasting Group Tuesday 10th December 2019. It's appley, but doesn't taste as sweet or as deep, full flavoured as expected, a little tangy, I think that I am in the minority as I rather like this.

Light amber, super buttery popcorn aroma, flavor follows through with even more drawn butter mixed with apply undertones. Nice acidity, not too sweet, but the (likely) diacetyl overwhelms the other flavors for me.

Clear golden. Aroma is butter apple yeast juice vanilla raisins. Taste is very dry chalky and lots of peel. A bit too dry and not so complex. Ok.

sample. Pale golden. buttery apple, like roast apple, a bit artificial. medium light body, very buttery, popcorn, dry, boozy spice.

Bottle, many thanks Nische! Clear yellow color with no head. Aroma is vanilla, phenols, apple must, green apples, a bit buttery. Taste is the same, quite dry. Oily mouthfeel, flat. A bit dry and phenolic. Quite weird.

25/10/2019. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale yellow gold with a green tint and no head. Aroma of apples, liquorice, menthol and eucalyptus. Light sweetness, medium tartness. Moderate body, oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Lingering menthol, slightly minty finish. Not too keen.

750ml bottle. Yellow gold colour, afew bubbles on top that quickly dissipate away and aroma of fleshy green apple. Taste is tart, green apple, fleshy, apple pulpy, with citric notes. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry acidic finish. Quite drinkable.
