Last try before dinner. Dark brown, opaque, kinda still pour. Sweet malt & raisin, creme, heavy nose. Oak, plum, heavy caramel, subtle twang, some oxidation, way too sweet. Trying carbonation, hot follow through. Iffy to okay.

5oz-ish pour at the bar, still waiting for my table. Frothy, dull orange-yellow pour. Heavy orange oil & veg nose, thin with zero backing. Mellow, orange rind & a little white sugar. Bittergreen, dusty herbal, super mild pith on the tail. Mellow abv, chewy. Very un-engaged.

On tap @taproom while I wait for my seat at Pomegranate. Dark copper brown pour, extra lacy. Boozy brandy nose over some chocolate malt in the nose. Bittersweet, residual honey texture, slight caramel-y brightness, lingering sugar char, weak malt doughiness, a touch of pepper, breakfast cereal sweetness. Kinda good.

Hazed, medium gold, skimmy. 5.2% Boozy honey & malt liquor nose. White bread, honey residual, blonde ale, slight pith, herbal bittersweet finish. Half pith, mellow, thin, itchy, trash booze. Bad first try.
