0.75l from Drinkshop.sk, shared with Leo @ Dasa. Aroma is yeasty, honeyish, floral and malty. Pours cloudy amber color with thin creamy tan-like head and nice lacing. Taste starts medium sweet toasted malty and honeyish, following is floral and grassy, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Refreshing and quaffable…

750ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Floral but not particularly strong aroma. The taste is grassy and not particularly hoppy. I haven't tried the original Rybář but this fresh hop version is lacking a decent hop presence.

Dark golden with amber hints, pretty much clear and transparent. Gets a pretty healthy and big head that shows good retention and nice lacing. Quite good intensity and freshness in the aroma: a light, soft buttery whiff disappears quite quickly, delicate grainy malty base, floral and vivid grassy hops with light citric notes and a soapy hint. In the taste: a delicate grainy base of hay/straw as the smell suggested, just a very light hint of perhaps slightly buttery softness, floral and grassy hops share the main stage, hints of citric notes. Sweetness and bitterness are both mild to average, with good balance in both taste and aftertaste; a delicate floral hops reminiscence in the aftertaste. Quite light in body, low to average, delicately crispy carbonation; a pretty smooth but pleasantly lively mouthfeel. Overall: a pretty classic, very well made vycepni, excellent drinkability as you'd expect.

Pours mid amber, a bit translucent, some haziness. Last pour brought out some very thin, grey, sort of dust-like looking deposit; not sure i've seen something like that before, didn't seem to cause trouble anyways. Healthy, pretty frothy white head, quite good retention and nice amounts of lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: caramel maltiness, a touch of floral sweetness (something in the likes of chamomille), a thin hint of buttery softness, delicate grassy and citric hop notes. Taste notes follow the aroma quite closely: no butterscotch detectable, but the beer has a pleasant touch of slightly rustic softness. Hop notes seem to bring low bitterness, with a delicate fresh grassy hint and a kind of juicy/sweet, mild citricness. Average intensity, quite good taste definition. The beer feels sweet oriented in the overall balance, but in a mild and pretty clean way. Quite light in body, average, slightly soft-feeling carbonation, resulting in a quite easy, decently smooth mouthfeel. Pretty nice polotmave.

A bit darker than golden with some amber hints, some haziness (possibly a bit more than usual per style). Average to big white head, a bit frothy; good enough retention, not much lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: soft, white bread like maltiness with maybe a hint of diacetyl adding to softness, a hint of something that feels vaguely yolky/egg-like, chamomille; hop notes are relatively restrained in the overall balance, but still very much present (soft citricness, floral hints). Nice aroma on the overall, with ok definition. A bit less bright in taste: malty notes as per aroma, hoppiness now a bit more in the background (possibily a bit too much), with a dry floral note to bring a bit of bitterness in finish/aftertaste; balanced aftertaste, a bit of sweet edge in taste. Quite light bodied, with average, quite soft-bubbled carbonation; feels overall quite quaffable and a bit smoother than usual per style. Overall: malty leaning svetle with enough bitterness to bring balance, very much ok though it didn't feel too bright.
