16 oz can from Paragon, 1/14/24. Pours kind of rusty darker orange color, with an off white head. Fairly bitter flavor, with an aroma of pine, resin, herbal, and some citrus notes. Decently dry, a little smooth.

Bottle Shop, draught: opaque greenish haze. Hop burned to all hell. Deep bitterness. Citrus and tropical is there but flavor is overpowered by spicy bitterness. Meh.

16 oz draft at 59 Almshouse. The flavor is a traditional pils. Brady malt, honey-ish tones, pretty sweet finish. Or…. It could be a really old keg? Still easy drinking.

Funky, hazy and ghostly white, lavender and light indigo coloured body with a massive, ugly, super fast-dying off-white head that leaves a nasty lace on the side of the glass above the 80 per cent opaque body. Aroma of lactose, light fruits, apricot, wheat, yeast and some bread, but no real hop scents. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong funky wheat and yeast flavours show at first with some actual noticeable hop bitterness that's dry and slightly perfumey, that finishes with some very light blueberry and cranberry flavours with a lot of supportive wheat notes and even more lactose and icing sugar at the end. Aftertaste shows a robust wheat kick from the rich malts, some decent hop bitterness and a surprising alcohol bite, with a lot less of the fruits than I expected. Overall, I'm usually very skeptical of these types of IPAs, but this has real bitterness, a decent balance, a ton of carbonation and not much fruitiness at all - probably a good thing, since this is respectable - nice to try! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Gettysburg Beer Mart in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on 31-January-2023 for US$4,89, canned on 11-August-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-May-2023.

UCL semi finals are sorted. Looking forward to some more good football. Heja BVB!
Nice offering from Vault. Good color, fruity, little resinous on the finish.

Catching up on paperwork with Europa League coverage on the store telly. Papaya, honeydew, a bitter finish at first, but dissipates as it warms up. A good Vault. They make solid beer, but their pizza is even better.
