My first Scratch! I'm from Wisconsin but I had to go to Germany to find it, huh. This burdock plant is quite interesting. Adds a sweetness that ends up being not unlike a Finnish sahti (unlike an American sahti, which is completely different).

Sampled at The Roost pours a clear gold, big white head. Nose is mild, some light citrus and leafy green hops, some light candy and saison esters. Flavor is clear saison, candy and peppercorns, DuPont all the way, grain, the hop is leafy, more green tea than West Coast. Finishes just off dry, medium bodied. Solid solid table beer.

On tap at The Beer Temple. Pours a dark brown with small beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong fig, dark fruit, cocoa, spice. Slick body, raisin, fig, spice, light dry finish, very good.

Snallygaster 2022. Poured an almost clear yellow color with a small wispy head. Aroma was apple, light funky notes. Touch sour, with a light musty note. Pleasant light funk. Juicy.
