Tasty DIPA, offering up juicy notes of mandarin, peach, grapefruit, and pineapple, with a mineral backbone and earthy pine on the finish. Way too easy to put a pint away. Good beer.

Easygoing sour, not face-blistering in intensity, with a brisk citrus bite and moderate notes of blueberry coming through on the back end. Mild notes of grain and vanilla underline the tartness, and the fade holds a lingering citric acidity.

Incredibly drinkable, offering up a mix of grass, stone fruit, and coconut from the hops, followed by a subtle mango sweetness and a hint of yeasty tartness. Finishes bright and clean. Not a sugary mango bomb, which I appreciate.

Solid NEIPA, with a healthy burst of grapefruit, passion fruit, and orange zest from the Citras. Mild grainy sweetness sits underneath, along with a little cracker and white bread. Finishes with a vein of pine and a dry, yeast-tinged fade. Nice pint.

Can't find a description anywhere of what kind of barrels were used to age this beer, so if I find out it was some sort of wine barrel, I'll completely change my opinion. But, seeing as the industry standard for a beer simply labeled barrel aged is a whiskey barrel, then that's how I'm basing my opinion. And, if this was aged in a whiskey barrel, then something has gone terribly wrong. Huge waves of tart berry and vinegar on the nose, and the taste follows suit. Starts out reminiscent of Docks Brown, but then quickly grows sour, with a oxidized tang and plenty of vinous notes backed up by a little funk and oak. Again, if this beer is meant to be wild or was aged in a cab barrel or the like, that's different. But if this is a BBA beer...whoa, nelly.

Sweet, even for a milk porter. Lots of cocoa, vanilla, dark fruit, and malted milk balls, with a modest undertone of mocha and moderate bitterness on the finish. Very easy to drink--my tallboy emptied tout de suite--and the lingering essence of chocolate on the palate is rather nice.

Excellent brown ale, almost as good as Naked River's bbq. Heavy notes of cocoa, caramel, pumpernickel, and a little fruit, followed up by a moderate vein of pine and roast on the finish. Stays dry and bitter on the back end. Classic American brown. Damn good.

Awesome, straightforward RIS, heavy on the bitter, dark unsweetened chocolate, backed by notes of anise, cascara, espresso, and char. Dry to the point of being aggressively anti-sweet, which I respect. A heavy, mature stout, old-school and proud of it. One of the brewery's best. Delicious.

Very nice märzen from Naked River, hitting all the classic Oktoberfest notes, full of toasted bread, caramel, nuts, red apple, a little yeast, and a mild floral bitterness on the finish. Remains dry throughout, with a cracked grain and biscuit flourish in the fade. Very respectable take on the style.
