Can from the Trader Joe’s in Davis, CA. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of pale stone fruit with a citrus hint. Med body or better. Flavor is juicy/perfumey pale stone fruit with some possible tropical. It’s not very dry, nor is it very bitter (IMHO). But given the TJ’s price point it’s one heck of a deal. And it’s also very tasty, even after a couple of bombers down the gullet. Don’t hesitate to grab it (unless something great is available).

Pour looks like lemonaid with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is a nice mango with an overall fruit cocktail to it. Flavor is a mango that hits you real quick but also disappears real quick. More of a fizzy juice than a beer but this was quite refreshing.

Draught at random shitty bar in Malden, 2/21/17.
Mostly clear, bright golden-pineapple body is topped by a thick white head.
Big notes of juicy pineapple, ruby red grapefruit, pine and strong honey-caramel from the malt create quite an overbearing, if partially enjoyable (the juicy, tropical aspect) nose. Rather estery and boozy, especially after warming with decidedly little character/personality to it. Rather straightforward PNW hops add citrus, pineapple and such while malts add strong sugar.
In the flavor it starts out juicy and fruity with lots of citrus but quickly adds alcohol and strong sourdough and cake icing-like maltiness to the picture which really detracts and fatigues the palate. Hot and messy with too much bitterness malt and alcohol. Rather thick, sluggish texture.

Canned February 2nd.
Pale gold, ample foam, smells of grapefruit, earthy malt. Taste is of mild grapefruit, bit grassy, earthy and cracker malt. Smooth medium mouthfeel, pretty standard but I enjoyed it.

Can. Very strong ginger, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with moderate brown head. Very sweet strong gingerbread, light chocolate malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. A ginger bomb - not quite overwhelming but close.
