Rich dark brown coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall deep tan head. Aroma of pure ginger, mixed with a good dose of roasted malt, canella, sugars, toffee and bunches of lactose - very nice and strong, especially with the ginger. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malty and earthy flavourings show up at first then give way to a ton of ginger, sugar, lactose and earthy notes - very nice and incredibly flavourful in a good way. Aftertaste shows some alcohol, but a fairly muted and covered bite that shows much more ginger, spice, malt and especially lactose. Overall, a very nice and incredibly well-crafted beer with the milk and ginger flavours the most pungent, but the malt, spice and alcohol shows well, too. Great to sample and well worth trying if you like ginger at all or any other spices in a holiday beer. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased yesterday at Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 10-December-2016 for US$3,29 sampled at home in Dearborn, Michigan on 11-December-2016.

Pours simple yellow with white foam. Quite usual lager aroma. Crisp and bready. Taste is also refreshing, some biscuits and slightly bready. Easygoing and goes down easy. Simple and good.

Can shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Hazy yellow with a white head. Pleasant fruity hops aroma with a faint stale note. Dry flavor with fruity hops and moderate bitterness. Rather light-bodied. Almost six months old, but still fun and refreshing.

Can. Almost clear orange with a meringue-like white head. 3+ Aroma of lime, crackery dough, some pepper. Unfortunate that the lime is so obviously an addition rather than integrated into the beer overall. But it’s less so in the taste and whilst it’s simple and doesn’t dry out as much as it might, it’s a pretty solid refresher like the citron and pamplemousse versions. Nicely judged bitterness at the end with various bright fruity flavours hanging about.
