Description
A small independent brewery based in Northern Ireland with a belief in simplicity and a knack for brewing pretty good beer.
Like many good ventures, Modest Beer was born in a parent’s garage in Holywood, County Down when Chris Morris, a tax accountant by day, brewed a small experimental batch of Kölsch for a friend’s restaurant. Within two years we moved to a much larger brewery in Randalstown. We never set out to brew the best beer in Northern Ireland, but maybe someday we will.

Hazy yellow gold with a frothy white head and a citrus and grape aroma. Fresh and fruity, hop bitterness and a touch of funk, finishes dry and bitter.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a billowing white head that gushed from the can on opening; citrus aroma; crisp citrus taste with some chewy malts; and a pithy grapefruit bitterness to close.
