Many thanks for this beer to Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com). New Country 135. Piana mala jasna barwa zero aromatu. W smaku troche slodowosci, troche ziarna sezamu. Zwykle przecietne i niczym sie nie wyrozniajacy lager.

19th Nov 2018. Monthly Share Group meeting in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury, only three of us this time. 355cl bottle, cheers Mat for this brew. I preferred this to the Fiji Gold we had earlier in the tasting, seemed cleaner and crisper, even thought this is also pretty sweet. Looked fine, clear light golden body, snow white crown on top. Would have tasted better on a sun drenched beach on a Fijian island me thinks.

19th Nov 2018. Monthly Share Group meeting in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury, only three of us this time. 355cl bottle, cheers Mat for this offering. Clear golden pour, white crown. It's a malty little number and may well be fine on a sandy beach sat in the sun with your feet in the warm ocean, but on a damp and cold night in Shropshire it did not do it for me!

355ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie Nov '18, brought by me. Pours clear gold, frothy white head. Quite a sweet, clean, pale malt character really. The sweetness appeals to me. No noticeable terrible off-notes. Don’t mind it.

355ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie. Clear gold, frothy off white head. Perfectly fine golden lager. Nothing too offensive. Light sweetness that adds to its appeal. Fine.

Bottle from somewhere around Fiji Islands - many thanks to Jan for bringing it! That's a Fiji tick. Pours clear pale golden with a lasting, small, foamy, white head; some lacing. Standard aroma of yeast, cow fodder, 'wet grain', lemon, honey, hay. It tastes light bready sweet, a bit dank, some old apple, and light to medium grainy bitter, yeasty, cow fodder with a touch of lemon. Dryish, yeasty, bready finish, a bit citric. Light body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Not even that bad for an industrial Lager.

355ml bottle courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden amber colour, white foamy head leaving some lacing and aroma of malt, grain. Taste is malty, corn grain, sweet, with cardboard and grassy metallic light bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry papery finish. OK, abit bland, one for drinking very cold on a sunny beach somewhere!

Sample [thanks SinH4] split with Dutchdrebus. Clear very pale golden color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, wheat, hayish, lightly corn and a sweet-bitter hint. In a tropical climate this could actually be quite a nice thirst-quenching beer.
