On tap at Bailey’s Taproom. Pours a pure black color with a small white head. A big fruity and roasted malt nose. A rich malty dry flavor with cocoa, chocolates, heavy roast, light dark fruit. Big flavors, very nice. Bold.

Tap at APEX, PDX, 26/05/13. Very lightly hazed golden with a thin white head. Nose is hops, bitter grapefruit, touch of pine, light sugar, orange pith. Taste comprises hops, bitter grapefruit, orange, pine, light grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. A more than decent IPA!

On tap at Barley Brown’s Baker City. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Aroma is of roast malt, spice, and some chocolate. Taste is very nice the dark malts, chocolate, and spice. A little like a mexican cake. They have done well on the spice beer I also enjoy the Hot Blonde.
