Description
Flying Boat Brewing started in our garage in June 2015 and was licensed under a 2 BBL system, after several years of home brewing and developing new recipes. We expanded to a new 15 Barrel Brewhouse in January 2018, with a small canning line, and a fully licenced Taproom, offering beer flight samples, pints, plus growler fills and 473 mL cans to go.

Dark brown, thin head. Fudgey, chocolatey, light body and a touch of burnt malt bitterness. That makes it a bit acrid due to lack of balancing sugars. A touch of roast acidity as well. It’s okay.

Pale, has some haze to it, and a fairly thick head. Fruity hop, moderate bitterness, light biscuity malt. A little harsh in the malt aspects but overall not bad.

Slight haze, pale, not much head. Some peachy, juicy gooseberry galaxy notes, layered over a slightly sticky malt base.

Amber, slight haze. Toasty, has a balanced bitterness, light hop aromatics, herbaceous in nature. It’s a bit yeasty. Decent if imperfect old school IPA.

Dullish pale amber. Sweetish, some bitterness but sticky on the malts, lots of clunky unfermented stuff. That certainly diminishes the brightness. Like it’s fine…maybe not a top 20 beer in Moncton, though.
