Bottle. Batch Three. Poured a kind of dark blonde with a big, ecru head. Aroma was grain, floral, flowers. Herbal, grain, some light zippy fruits. Pretty well carbonated.

Can, at the March 2025 DCBeer share. Poured a msotly clear, dark orange color with a small amount of rust, with a white head. Aroma was toasted malts, grain. Light grass, with some crispness to it. Realy pleasant, drinkable stuff.

750 recently picked up from the brewery - a blend farmhouse ale and coolship fermented farmhouse ale - this blend was bottled in 2022 - lightly hazy light gold - lively carbonation fails to kick up a head - nose of light funk, light acetobacter, honey, melon, white wine, flowers - lightly sweet approach, followed by Chardonnay character, oak, drying acid - tail end has white peach, light funk, light prickly acid - balanced and subtle.

Bottle picked up from the brewery on a recent road trip - dark ruby, nearly black, thin tan lace - nose of treacle, toffee, fig, date, port wine, oak - flavors of port, fig, raisin, date, leather, earthy - really light background funk and oxidation - the barrel treatment is very subtle/understated and delicate - the 14% abv is not at all detectable - very traditionally British - the fact that they grew all the grain themselves (apparently in a single field) is a huge accomplishment and a testament to the love that went into this, which is apparent in the finished product - excellent.

Wine glass at the brewery - hazy gold with a substantial but short-lived head - looks like Orval when it is first poured - nose is just lovely - soft herbs, rustic grains, peaches, white grape, light funk, rock candy - prickly mouthfeel - dry and rustic - loads of soft herbal character, moderate bitterness, soft wheat - peppery finish, with some lingering funky peach and white grape - light finishing minerality - exceptional.

16oz cans have a bit of haze over a corn gold body. Nice cap of white head. Nose has brioche, herbs, dough, corn. Flavor is delightfully doughy, brioche, honey, flowers. Super soft finish. Oily.

16oz can pours some haze over a burnt gold body. Big cap of rocky white head. Nose has flower pollen and honey and dandelion and light melon. Grist. Sweet herbs. Flavor has more overt tropicals, but hugely floral. Sweet. Some soap and pine arrives. Finishes full bodied, off dry with some heat I read as the ABV. Different.

Can. Poured a light cola color with a small white head. Aroma was bready, sweet malts. Light bread, some toffee, very light, clean. Easy to drink.
