16oz can pours a clear gold, white head. Clean nose, grist and honey, light grasses. Flavor is sweet and chewy, some soap. Clean finish.

At the January 2026 DC Brewver gathering. 16oz can. Poured a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light grain, grassy. Light floral, with a bunch of grass. Very clean, super crisp. Very drinkable.

375ml. Think this cost me $35 at the brewery. I get this is estate grown and Virginia bourbon barrel aged but damn, that's steep. Deep, oily, brown, ring of khaki head. Legs. Nose is deeply malty, grain, butterscotch, nuts, huge treacle. Sweet, malty, grainy and the barrel and booze arrive. Full bodied, long, sticky finish. Good. 8 8.5 7.5 7 7.5

Can pour at the DCBeer December 2025 share. Poured a really nice golden yellow color, very light haze, with a fluffy white head. Aroma was nice light grain, pleasant, light and floral. Solid.

Short pour at the brewery. Looks sexy as hell. Starbright garnet with a cap of beige head. Malt, malt vinegar and cherry nose. Flavor has cranberry too. Nice minerality. Dry. Tart. 9 7.5 8 8 8

Sampled from the tap at Churchkey. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has straw and a bit of hay with a touch of sweet grain backing. Flavor has lots of straw with light hay and a touch of sweetness underlying.
