Hazy, blonde, medium head. Herbaceous aroma, slight biscuit note, again on the palate biscuity with moderate bitterness.

Hazy, pale, medium head. A light yeastiness. But overall it is a pretty good pale ale.

On tap at Birreria Volo. Pours cloudy light gold with thin white head. Aroma had a lot of pine resin. Flavour has fairly gentle pine. Very mild carbonation. It's okay, lacks ambition.

Pours hazy brown with beige head. Aroma is very slightly floral with undertoatsed malts. Flavour is pretty sweet; roasted and sweet malts. Not super complex, but and enjoyable example of the style

On tap at Birreria Volo. Pours clear amber with off-white head. Aroma has a lot of floral honey notes. Flavour is floral and sweet, notes of carmel malts and honey. A bit on the syrupy side but generally a good, if sweet, barley wine.

On tap at Bierria Volo. Pours black with tan head. Aroma has some roasted malt and espresso. Flavour is fantastic: roasted malt, espresso, bourbon. Boozy warmth on the finish. Excellent malty imperial stout.

33cl bottle pours a clear brown with some creamy beige head. Nutty nose, big bread crust, some earthy notes. Flavor is OK, caramel and rootbeer barrels, malt and bread. Sweet finish. This is less successful. 6 4 5 2 9
