Can. A near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and mildly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth rich dark chocolate malts, a little tangy, touch of coffee. The vanilla and coconut are lightly applied. It's a rich if simple Impy. Tasty enough for sure.

Decent, but not a patch on the Early Pick.

Keg at Waterloo Tap. Hazy verging on waxy pale somehow dark orange. Thin foamy translucent white head. Aroma has sweet citrus with underlying resin and spice. Flavourwise it had an upper layer of resin bitterness and sharp spur citrus andnstone fruit. There is then underlying fruit juice sweetness and pith. Medium bodied. Slick to oily l. Soft vaguely fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent. Big and fruity and also well balanced.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head that persists for a decent amount of time. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation on the back end. Soft smooth malts, a nice airy creamy sweetness. Riwaka's hillbilly sibling cum cousin, is a delight here. Very soft pine. A mild hop spice nibble. Guava and rounded but clear passion fruit. Touch of Pakistani honey mango. A mild savoury vibe. Back end brings light touches of stone fruits and citrus but, they are complementary and peripheral colours to the main event. Light finish. Rather good then. Certainly the best beer, featuring or including ES, I have had. More passion fruit then any Strata beer I can recall. A very fine and hugely drinkable single hop showcase. This is how it should be done.
