Keg at The Hive, Crowthorne. Slightly opaque light gold. Thin foamy white head. Aroma combines not overly sweet canned fruit with a herbal streak and underlying earthiness. Flavourwise it's bitter - resin, herbs, gooseberry and a vinous edge. Underlying chewy malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Punchy IPA - bitterness and dryness. Although something about the hops flavour range doesn't quite reach the heights.

On tap at the Southampton Arms, London on 22nd December 2025. Inky sepia with light brown foam and a full lacing. Rich and intense roasty malt aroma. Roastiness in-mouth with coffee, dark chocolate and cherry fruits, with a gap through which discernible alcohols emerge. Roasty finish with cake fruits, malts, rums and raisins. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a full body. Very enjoyable.Thank you Glenn, Merry Christmas!

440ml can. Murky golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of pineapple, coconut, grapefruit, peach. Taste is juicy, tropical, peach and pineapple, creamy coconut, zesty lemon and lime. Medium bodied. On the sweeter side at first but hoppy bitterness keeps it in check. Banger.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 13/12/2025.
Pitch black topped with a dirty tan head that thins over time.
Nose is dark malts, dried fruit rinds, molasses, toffee, dates.
Taste comprises chocolate, dark malts, figs, molasses, hint of vanilla.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow rising boost.
Okay sipper but didn't pick up much in the way of the advertised coffee and vanilla ... overall lacking a little depth for me.

Can. Hazy yellow gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Light pale malts, slightly thin bodied, a good creamy sweetness. Light pine into a veritable smorgasbord of NZ hop goodness. Floral melon, a little key lime and soft citrus, touches of candy fruits and pineapple. There's more but it becomes hard to pick apart, so densely layered are the hops. Very mild skunk sitting under the hop fruits. A fairly light finish. Wonderfully fruity hop dipa.
