Description
Stone Daisy is our beer brand. Witch marks are often referred to as hexafoils or daisy wheels and with our 'daisy wheels' carved in stone, Stone Daisy was an obvious name for the brewery that not only produces the beer wash that is distilled to make our whisky new make spirit but also our range of cask, keg, canned and bottled beers.

First brewed in January 2023 taking over the former site of Keystone Brewery.

Relativt pålitelige notater fra godt besøkt føradventsmøte i Jæren Fråholdslag: klar gylden med ok skum. Lys malt, fløtekarameller, litt urter og citrus. Fin bitterhet men kort avslutning. 0,5 flasken var fra suvenirbutikken i Stonehenge ("exit through the gift shop"). Hurra for

Can from Allington Farm Shop, Chippenham. New brewery for me. Deep gold with no head; rather flat. Tastes mainly of cheap apple juice. There's a hint of lemon, some caramel and a dull finish, but mainly apple juice. Sweetish, weird and slightly unpleasant, wtf is going on here?

Found this one on a visit to the extensive ruins of the Cistercian Furness Abbey. I believe the beer has been around a while in name, but has changed brewer a few times. A clear brown colour with a sweet dark-maltiness in taste, with a more genuine dark-malty aroma. Certainly traditional, very good bottle-conditioning here.

Can on the Norfolk Dumpling, thanks to the Wingman, 27/01/24. Clear golden blonde with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is pale malts, breads, sweet edged, faint citric peel. Taste comprises orange jelly, sugars, straw, perfume. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Sweet and flabby ...not great.

Caramel and lime. I’m not sure what a “social pale ale” is but if this is it, I’d prefer to avoid to be antisocial. Golden copper pour with decent head. Light tangy finish. Bottle from Stonehenge gift shop.
