Chocolately, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, dry cocoa, minimally earthy, fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of apple and tobacco, toffee undertones. Taste is chocolately, roasty, dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, dark cocoa, dry cocoa, subtle residual sweetness, mildly bitter, slightly fruity and minimally earthy-leafy hoppy hints of apple and tobacco, subtle hints of coffee and toffee.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, foamy to creamy carbonation.
Balanced, homogeneous, focussed - lovely.

Roasted and sweet malty with lots of rich chocolate, some caramel and fudge, dark dried fruit shred with some sultana and raisins, full bodied, smooth silky mouthfeel, just a light burnt smokiness, dark big malty finish. Gorgeous.

Bottle. Unclear amber body with a medium sized, lacing tan head. Nice aroma dominated by bog myrtle, forest and some malt. Quite refreshing in taste, fruity, herbal, balanced bog myrtle, mild eucalyptus and moderate bitterness. Fine body, nice aftertaste. Very pleasant and I really apreciate the delicate herbal/forest flavor,

2019 bottle shared with Jorge and RJ at RJ's, pulling out the big guns for friends and all that. Big on espresso, cacao, roasted malts and dried fruits, fairly low on BA character although some tannins do show. Good bodied with soft carbo, the age shows but not turning for the worse yet.

Definitely feels fresher than the '19 bottle, even though it's still got a fair level of aged character. Surprisingly hoppy and dry, but got a good body nevertheless. Heavily chocolatey, with roast and dried fruits coming through as well. Nois.

thanks omhper! Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is nectar, some dried fruits, smoked and toasted tones with mild peat and some alcohol too. Flavour is peat smoked, some alcohol sweetness with dried fruits, fudge and some vanilla too. Quite evident alcohol, but a very nice sipper anyways!
