Dullish pale, and a bit of haze. There's some orange note to the hop character, though the underlying base seems a bit soupy. On the palate, that's some nice nelson, lychee, touch of mandarin, grapefruit. Fairly low bitterness, I'd want it to lean into that grapefruit a bit more. But it's not bad. the malt may be a touch weak. So some structural things, but overall I'd say the big one has a nelson note.

473mL can, pours an opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mostly a function of the tangy Nelson, with a bit of allium, and very minimal chalk. Flavour likewise has a great Nelson hop tang, light sugars, a touch of allium, no chalk/hopburn, and very mild bitterness on the finish. The Nelson carries this. Quite good for a hazy.

473mL can. Pours a murky yellow with a small white head. White wine, tart berries, allium, and some yeast on the nose. Flavour has some nice Nelson character, allium, citrus peels, a bit of a yeast character. Pretty decent hazy, the Nelson is much appreciated.

Dark brown. Thin head. The aroma has a burnt note, umami. It's similar on the palate, with some molasses accents, lots of bitterness. This doesn't come across as being refined, but there's a lot of big, fun flavours here as well. I'm down.

Can from Beer52. Pours black with moderate sized beige head, nice retention. Hoppy citric zest aroma with some roasted malt and pine. Not sure what the difference is between an American Stout and a Black IPA but not much going by aroma. Taste is also quite citric and pine noted before the roasted element comes in, some coffee, not picking up chocolate mentioned on the can, herbal-roasted bitter finish. Medium+ bodied, fine carbonation, semi-drying. Good.
