12 ounce bottle from the great white north. Pours a nice orange color with a small white head. A big wafting citrus nose. The flavor is excellent; huge citrus, marmalade, toast. Very smooth. I could drink many of these. Awesome Pale.

Sampled from a cask at ABR 2015. Pours a clear deep amber orange with a yellowish tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains, dark fruits and a bit of Belgian yeast as well as some Cabernet. Flavor has a stronger Cabernet note with some tart grapes, a bit of dark fruits and a sweet dark grain backbone.

Sampled from a cask at ABR 2015. Pours a clear deep amber brown with a chalky brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a note of earthy grains, with musty grass and a bit of pine coming through. Flavor has aggressive earthy pine with some musty and earthy notes and a dark grain backbone.

Sampled at ABR 2015. Light red color. Thin foam. Aroma is on the sweet side with wine and grape. Some sugar from the malt, and the fruit comes through but it is much less sweet than I expected from the flavor. I think more brewers would be wise to use wine barrels. One of the more interesting beers at the festival today.

(Thanks, Gene! "Travlr") Can. A- Caramel, malty, bready, subtle citrus. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Caramel, malty, bread, citrus, subtle bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture. average carbonation, malty finish. O- A lot of caramel and bread notes. Very little bitterness or pine that one would associate with an IPA. Not too shabby for a beer from no where.

Can thanks to Kyle! Pours a clear deep amber with a copper hue and an off white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has lots of bread and straw notes with some sweet grains supporting. Flavor has more sweetness with a good amount of grain and bread and just a hint of biscuit.

12 oz. can, from my Secret Santa. Pale yellow color, with a medium, white head. The nose is pine, papaya, whole grains, bitter orange peel, and some light honey. Very bitter flavor, but with a fair, grainy backbone. Medium body, astringent, chalky, and a little thick. This is a pretty decent pale ale. Great aroma, but the flavor is overly aggressive and bitter, with an off-putting malt character.

Can shared at the WWWW Mid Atlantic Summer Beer Tasting. Dark red, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, dark fruits. Taste matches. Thin bodied, low carbonation.

Can shared at the WWWW Mid Atlantic Summer Beer Tasting. Hazy copper, thin creamy tan head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, toasted caramel. The taste is citrus hops, caramel malt, mild tropical fruits. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.
