Description

Super oxidized, almost like a less intense version of an Italian barleywine. Lots of grape notes. Way more intense on the nose.

Medium to good, dwindling tan-cream head over deep dark brown beer. Roasted, nutty & bready, rainwater, dark green leaves for aromas. Sweet flavour, old dark bread, bit of dark candi sugar, caramel, and again leafy. Not unlike smaller firm ’artisanal’ cola. MF like diluted brown syrup. Feels well-carbonated. Not that bad -goes into the right direction. Just that little sourishness still missing.

Very good fine & dense, yellowish head over fully hazy orange-ochre beer. Milky nose, bit diary, garden herbs, celery. Bitter almonds in the mouth, pale malts, human sweat. Quite slick, at least medium bodied. Not my taste , I’m afraid. Hope I like the Bruine better, as that used to be one of my favourite beers, 4 decennia ago...
