Bottle from Aldi, Aylesbury, Bucks, consumed 13-01-09 Pours mid amber with a white head and some busy carbonation. There is some initial sweetness which is balanced reasonably well with an underlying bitterness. I also get a slight creamy vanilla thing going on and there is definately some banana and toffee which I only notice three quarters of the way through this. Its quite fruity in general and a bit tangy there could even be a hint of orange. In fact as this Aldi/Batemans range goes this isn’t to bad and has a wider range of flavours than the other two I’ve tried. A6 A4 F6 P3 OV12

Bottle from Aldi, Aylesbury, Bucks, consumed 13-01-09 Pours reddy to copper in colour with an off white head. There is a reasonable tanginess to this, a slight metallic tinge which I’m sure that I detected in the one of these Aldi/Batemans beers that I had the other day. Some furry dryness, a little bitterness. Its better than expected but that’s not a ringing endorsement. A5 A4 F6 P3 OV11

Bottle picked up at Aldi, Aylesbury, Bucks, Nov 08, consumed 11-01-09. Pours mid-dark golden in colour with a metallic nose mixed with some malt. The metallic characteristics come through in the mouth along with some banana and toffee. There is fruitiness which adds a tang, but overall its a bit of a average beer no more no less. Bottled (BB 05/2009). Thanks bierkoning. Clear ruby brown color, small off-white head. Dusty caramel aroma. Saccarine-sweety flavor, plasticky mouthfeel. Some harsh notes. Very dead and uninspiring.

Bottled. Amber colour, medium beige head. Aroma is sweet candy, sugar and some caramel malts. Extremely sweet. Flavour is the same along with very sours/bitter caramel malts (however that is possible). what the hell is this thing about? Unpleasant in most ways you could interpret this beer.

Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, fake orange nose. Sweet and repulsive orange juice taste with some strange chunks floating in the glass. Awful again.

0.33l can courtesy of and shared with ogivlado - thanks! Poured a paaale green body with a small white head that went away fast. Lime shows up in the nose, and sure enough, in the description on the can too, despite the name of the beer. Weak lime taste, a bit sugary. Fake. Weak. Boring. Aspartame. Dull. Stale. Again, lovely can, crap inside.

0.33l can courtesy of and shared with ogivlado - thanks! Poured a lightly darker gold-amber body with a small-medium thick white chem head. Fake oranges in the nose, pleasant though. A bit caramelly. Taste... sweet chalky fake orange, light earthiness. Not too sweet. Light notes of aspartame.Watery. Cool can, sweetener fueled crap inside. Acesulfame, aspartame, cyclamate and saccharin. Lovely.
