Cask at Great Western, Wolverhampton. Pours a clear pale straw with a small white head. The aroma has floral hops with a touch of citrus. In the mouth it is crisp, zesty, hoppy and refreshing. Flavour of floral hops, stone fruits and some generic citrus. A little sweetness comes in later on. Not my normal style of beer, but this is rather nice.

Shared third of a pint at the 31st Shrewsbury Beer Festival in St Mary's Church on 28th September 2023. Light golden body, white crown. Citrus front to the nose and taste, nothing to make it stand out from the crowd of similar beers on the market.

Cask @ Shrewsbury Real Ale Festival 2023. Pours pale gold, white head. Floral citrus nose. Taste presents herbal bitter goings on.. lacks a vibrancy of modern hop character expected from the dry hopping. Weedy bitter finish.

Cask @ Cromwell's Tap House, Shrewsbury. Pours a deep ruby, off-white head. Strong ginger root aroma. Confidently spicy flavour profile, ginger definitely coming out on top alongside moderate nutmeg notes and mild cinnamon. Definitely a flavoursome winter warmer this.

500ml bottle from Everyman's, Shrewsbury. Pours straw blonde, white head. A bit rough, thin, bitter.. expected more malt sweetness and floral blonde aspects but feels distinctly lacking.

500ml bottle from Everyman's, Shrewsbury. Pale gold pour, small white head. Persues a traditional malty blonde character with mild hop glimpses, light floral citruss, but generally not a lot going on

500ml bottle in Anthony's of Wellington on 12th November 2022. Dark ruby body, no real head to talk of. Malty nose with some dark fruity esters, taste also malty and again with a dark fruit traces. OK, but it just lacked a bit of depth body and flavour wise.

500ml bottle in Anthony's of Wellington on 12th November 2022. Clean and clear straw blonde with a white fluffy head. Lots going on for a 3.7% beer; pleasant fruity and slightly malty aroma, taste also malty with a balanced fruitiness; no citrus notes (always a bonus).

Hand-pulled pint in the Armoury on 7th November 2022. It has a pump clip that has both Shropshire Pale Ale and Noble Crusade on it, very confusing really, pub's black board had it as 'Shropshire Pale Ale' not 'Noble Crusade'. Anyway it's very pale gold and has a lasting white head. Light sweetness, mini-citrus leaning, decent session ale all round.
