33cl bottle (0,7%) from Casino Shop, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France. Head is medium, white, not long lasting. Colour is gold, light hazy. Aroma is malty, bready, hoppy touch. Taste is light malty base, a lot of prominent bitterness, bit herbal, wort touch, dry on the palate, nice bitter may be too much but for me ok, soft carbonation, drinkable.

33cl bottle (5.9%): BBE May 2022. Bought on 20th June 2022 from Epicery & Co, Toulon. Drank on 21st June 2202 while alongside in Barcelona, waiting for the ship to leave and the ladies to get ready for our evening meal. Slight haze to the amber body, decent, lasting off-white head. Malty/toffee nose and initial taste, the hops arriving mid-sip. Nice balance with the malts just about winning in both the aroma and flavour stakes.

Clearly tastes like apricot but not really convinced by this product.

As advertised, there is a good balance between the beer sensations and the Pastis favoring. Yet, it still tastes way too much like pastis for me.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Claudius - merci beaucoup !]. Jet black colour with huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, dark beige head. Sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee and cocoa, cocoa powder, hints of dark chocolate, some toffee, a touch of roasted nuts, minimally waxy, hoppy overtones. Taste is bitter, hoppy and roasty dark malty, notes of coffee, hints of dark chocolate, cocoa, some grassy hop as well, a subtle fruity touch of blueberry. Watery texture, repellant palate, lively carbonation. Nice coffee flavours, sadly quite overcarbonated - nice.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Claudius - thanks a lot!]. Clear. orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Slightly perfumed, piney and citrusy, minimally floral, hoppy and caramel malty aroma, notes of orange, grapefruit, bitter orange, tangerine. Taste is crisp, citrusy and piney hoppy, sweet-ish caramel malty backbone, notes of orange, some grapefruit, lemon, bitter orange, tangerine, floral overtones; lingering, dry, piney hoppy finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally creamy palate, very fine, soft but efficacious carbonation. Very clean, classical West Coast style IPA - pretty good.
