Can. A clear, still, straw colored cider. The aroma feels more like apple juice than pear juice. Some cellar and pear core hints. Quite thin on the palate, gently carbonated, semi dry. Pear and apple juice flavor. Medium length finish. Dull but refreshing. 240828

Klar rød med tynt rosa skum. Lukter mest av eple, solbær og rips. Samme i smak. Kjenner smaken av kirsebær etter hvert. Frisk og godt karbonert.

750 ml clear bottle, mail order from Smak i Lom. Fermentation stopped before any significant amount of alcohol is formed, "alkoholfri" means that ABV must be less than 0.7%. Pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a moderate white head that lasts a while. Aroma of apples and apple skin, sprucetips, juniper berries and elderflowers. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements, refreshing. Might buy again.

Taste is sweet sour-ish fruity, overripe strawberries, grass, minerals, apple peel, leafs, sour apples. Medium bitterness, sweet sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough, a bit too much on the sweet strawberry side.

Bottle, 75cl. An almost clear, lightly sparkling candy red cider with some off-white bubbles on top. The aroma is dominated by well ripened strawberry, along with a sweet apple touch. Some spiced, earthy notes too. Cinnamon and cardamom perhaps. It's medium bodied and a bit sweet on the palate, pleasantly carbonated, with a light astringent, bitter touch in the far back. Ripe fruit, apple and strawberry, in the flavor too, perhaps a touch of rhubarg as well. Some spiced hints in the swallow. Feels a bit too sweetish this one, although it's not very sugary sweet, and the strawberry takes up too much room, but it's a fine drink anyway. 231216
