Tap@ HBF 2016. Near black with a thick off white head. Thick roasty, chocolaty aroma. Flavor has chocolate, coffee, roasted malt. Tasty. Nice coffee flavors.

Tap at HBF2016. Dark brown color, small beige head. Toasted, ashy aroma. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Ashy, roasted, malty, licorice flavor. Nice. Pyynikki can brew these.

Tap at HBF 2016, Helsinki. Colour is black with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Dryness, jauho, coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Pretty soft but I don’t like this flour element. Nice surprise still.

33cl bottle from trade with rosenbergh, many thanks! Pours hazy orange golden colour with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild fruits, mild bitter hops, grains. Taste of bitter dry hops, peach, melon, long bitter finish, easy to drink!

33cl bottle from trade with rosenbergh, many thanks! Pours clear golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of mild fruity hops, sweet malt, honey. Taste of mild bitter hops, sweet malt, flowers, spices.

Smell of hops, citrus, mango. Cloudy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of hops, spruce, grass, alcohol. Sharp, almost barbed palate. Very bitter. Flat carbon, slightly oily texture. So sharp it feels a bit off balance.

330ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Peach, sultanas, apricot and marmalade in the aroma, with a hint of aniseed. Orange peel, lemon zest, apricot and some pleasantly hoppy notes detected in the taste. A very tasty bitter. As an Englishman this is just the kind of thing that makes me less homesick. I understand that some non-Brits might not get it but this is really enjoyable.
