330ml Bottle - Golden with a slight haze and a small head. Lemon, lime and grapefruit in the aroma. Zesty, tangy, hoppy and slightly earthy taste with lemon, grapefruit and some floral hints.

330ml bottle from Alko. Pours clear orange with a small head. Aroma of caramely malts, hay, hints of pine, resin and toffee. Taste is sweetish, crisp and grassy with some hay, pine, resin and toffee. Finish is caramely, sweetish and crisp with some sweetness and lingering resinous bitterness. Okay.

33cl bottle from trade with rosenbergh, many thanks Jan! Pours very dark brown, almost black with a mid-sized good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee and vanilla. Taste of dark roasted malt, liquorice, sweet chocolate and coffee, nice!

330ml bottle, thanks rosenbergh! Pours pitch black with a tiny white head. Aroma of mild roastiness, hints of fruits, licorice and vanilla. Taste is smooth, sweetish and slightly roasty with hints of fruits, licorice and vanilla. Finish is smooth and watery with hints of roastiness and bitterness. Okay, quite light bodied.

330ml bottle, thanks rosenbergh! Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of roastiness, burnt malts, hints of vegetables and coffee. Taste is stingy roasty, burnt and ashy with hints of berries and coffee. Finish is watery, dry and burnt with hints of roastiness and ash. A bit unbalanced.

Bottled (from Alko Keksusta, Vaasa). Hazy yellowish orange colour with a small creamy white head. Aroma is floral, mild herbal and spicy notes along with some rice to it. Flavour is rather flora, grassy, herbal and mildly spicy notes in a nice sweetness. A bit of rice as well as some alight alcohol sweetness to it as well.

(Keg at Kultainen Apina, 20160220) The beer poured deep golden and mildly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had clove, banana and perfume. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, clove, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was thin and watery. A promising start and dull finish.

Hazy orange color, small white head. Aroma has malts, yeast and spruce kind of herbal hoppyness. Light-bodied. Sweetish malty front (Finnish "sima-like"), then some earthy hops. A bit grainy. This is actually close to the unfiltered lagers of infamous brewpubs.

Dark brown color, small beige head. Aroma has toasted coffee and hints of toilet/cloak. Light-bodied. Toasted coffeeish flavor, also quite ashy. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Weakish palate. Can’t trace any jäkälä (no suprise), some similarities to Porin Puuvillan Pirta -porter.
