Pours a copper from a can. Big vanilla and cinnamon and allspice in the nose, similar flavor. Quite sweet and a little lactose-y. Good beer.

$3.90 pint can, WW. Hazy pale gold with a giant, soft white head. Lemongrass, floral hop, orange peel nose. Tangerine, light floral. Not much flavor. How the hell is this so highly rated? It's not bad, but it's completely forgettable.

Pours a hazy amber from a can. Nose is somewhat faint stone fruit and an even fainter citrus. Similar flavor, thin and watery, kind of a letdown. Good beer-ish.

750mL 2017 bottle drunk 7/31/22, thanks Chalumeaux! Clear, amber-mahogany. Small, tan head fades immediately to ring. Oxidized already with prune, black pepper, a touch of candy-like port character. A bit of alcohol sharpness on the finish. Dry, with raisin, plum, prune and such leading to a weird, astringent bitterness on the finish. Malty depth at least, with good attenuation. This shouldn't be so stale/oxidized already at just five years old. Lingering astringency is unpleasant. But it's not boozey.

Bottle (2017) pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! It's a dark brown with ruby, nice sparkle, ring of beige head and no lacing. Aroma is strong tart fruit, oak and traces of wine. Taste is strong tart dark fruit, oak, red wine. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, I appreciate some complexity but not a fan of the style so it's only going to be so good for me.

750mL 2017 bottle, drunk 7/30/22. Clear, mahogany-hazelnut, beige head fades quickly to ring. Sour cherry, flemish-like with oak tannin, leather, vanilla and a fair amount of acetic acid. Smells pretty acetic.... Cherry, date, raisin, soft, thin, not that sour, but full of caramel and vanilla. A bit mushy and slightly too sweet. Not a mess, but this has lost the balancing acidity if it ever had some. Flabby.
