8/10
Been avoiding rating all the beers here in Newfoundland, I don't want to spend my time on the phone. But this was an excellent beer. Drank subtly on the North Trail of Signal Hill. Really the perfect spot. Strong flavors of Resin And Floral hops, or a sweet malt base with touches of booze. Really delicious. Wish I had this at home.

473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves sticky curtains of soapy lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange zest, apricot, mango, peach and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, orange zest, apricot, white grape, pineapple, mango, oats and herbal hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a thick, creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and delicious.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazy gold with white head. Very malty old school candied citrus hop style IPA. Lacks some balance, but okay throwback IPA. Average +

473 ml can. Pours a very dull amber with light foamy head. Aromas of breadfruit, doughy malts and candied citrus. Flavors follow same with additional dull pine. Pretty much a malt bomb. OK.

Pale green, no haze. Thin head. Smells like an IPA, decent piney type of hops. This has a medium bitterness, though the hops aren't bright. The malts are light. The spirulina isn't necessarily doing anything.

On tap the Magnet, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma has lots of allium, floral hops, and citrus. Flavour has a bizarre hop expresion, with tangy hops, some onion, and tropical fruit punch. Clarity is good, better for a hazy. Okay.

Poured from 473mL can (thanks Chris McD). Clear yellow-ish green with small white head. Bland generic hops, the blue spirulina is subtle, but odd. Not a fan.
