Bottle @Højbjerg Tasting. Oily, black, brown head. Heavy malty, toffee and molasses. Bittersweet flavour, molasses, dark malt, caramel, Full bodied, lasting bitter finsh with more caramel. Nice.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich sweet toffee, candy caramel, roast malt, chocolate, coffee and hops. Sweet finish.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Sea salt & caramel edition. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and heavy, chewy caramel. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily. 110120

Bottle, 12%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and a little burned caramel. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, more caramel, lactose, sweet, sticky and a little bitter.

Bottle from Kvickly Middelfart. Jet black with a thick, tan head. Roasted aroma of chocolate, licorice and smoked meat, with hints of soy sauce and charcoal. Thick, sweetish, roasted flavour with licorice and chocolate. Supposedly it has lactose, but the beer remains unharmed by this.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Sweet vanilla dominates the aroma with also the lactose chiming in. Rich, potent and creamy body, again with vanilla and lactose in the forefront. Roast is there but it's all very sweet bordering cloying to be honest, although some late roasty bitterness offers a little balance. Late warming alcohol. 101219

On tap at Christian Firtal. Black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of toffee and sweet caramel with licorice and milk chocolate. Very sweet roasted flavour with caramel and vanilla.
