Description
The first written records of the brewery in Černá Hora are dated 1530. In the following centuries the brewery was owned by different aristocratic families. In 1896 an agrarian corporation was founded which operated the brewery till it was nationalized in 1948. In 1996 the brewery becomes private property corporation with the name Pivovar Černá Hora. In 2010 the brewery became the seventh brewery in a row to become a part of the Pivovary Lobkowicz brewery group, the aim of which is to maintain the tradition of brewing good beer in Bohemian and Moravian regional breweries.

Draught. OK lager with some vinous character. Not very flavourful for a 14 degree.

Deep golden colour. Neutral aroma. Medium bodied, medium dry. Big late bitterness. Oddly the oily flavour from the saaz hops doesn't show up until the finish.
