Bottled. Clear golden, average head. Light hay aroma. Sweet and bready with medium body and fairly clean mouthfeel. A fair amount of hops complimented by butterscotch gives it a decidedly Czecish character. On the sweeter sides of pilseners.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to bitter finish with a touch of straw.

(bottle, bought in Germany as Granát Pivo Tmavý Lezák, 4.5% abv) Murky brown, almost black colour with a big and dense foamy beige head. Sweet and slightly dusty aroma with roasted malt and caramel, a touch of cacao and herbal hops. Mild bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft to medium carbonation. Roast-malty taste with caramel/toffee and cacao; moderately dry finish with a burnt malty and light herbal hoppy bitterness. A bit light bodied but well-rounded Tmave.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, but not very persistent foamy, almost white head. Sweet (and a bit sugary) biscuity malt aroma with faint notes of hops in the background. Sweet and faint bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Malt-accented taste with light to moderate herbal notes on the palate; medium-dry sweet-bitter finish with a rather disappointing hops-character. Run of the HILL Bohemian Pilsener.

From 50 cL bottle. Pours yellow golden with very little white heade, quickly disappearing head. Aroma is hay/grassy and dry, some corn. Flavour is slight malty, not really sweet. Vaguely Malty dry finish.5-3-5-3-11=2.7

From tap at Pivovarsky Klub. Pours hazy yellow to orange with creamy white head. Dry estery wheat aroma, not much fruit here. Flavour is bubblegum yeasty and dry esters with a mild wheaty note showing through. Ends dry wheaty and mild yeasty.6-3-6-3-12=3.0

little 0,33l bottle, quite unusual for Czech beers to come in such small bottles. Amber coloured beer with medium-sized head. Traces of honey detectable. Underlinded by a hoppy dryness, very interesting beer.
